To install Google Analytics on Drupal 9, you can follow these steps:

  1. Sign up for a Google Analytics account if you don't already have one. Go to https://analytics.google.com/ and create a new account.
  2. Once you have your account, go to the Admin tab and click on "Create Property" to create a new property for your Drupal website.
  3. Fill in the details for your property, including the website URL, and select "Universal Analytics" as the tracking type.
  4. After you've created your property, you'll be given a tracking ID in the format "UA-XXXXXX-Y". Copy this ID.
  5. Log in to your Drupal website and go to the Extend page. Search for the "Google Analytics" module and install it.
  6. After the module is installed, go to the Configuration page and click on "Google Analytics" under the Web Services section.
  7. Paste your tracking ID into the "Web Property ID" field and click "Save configuration".
  8. Finally, go to your Google Analytics account and make sure that your tracking code is working properly. You should see data appearing in your account within 24 hours.

That's it! Your Drupal website should now be tracking visitor data using Google Analytics.

  • Firstly, you need to sign up for a Google Analytics account if you don't already have one. Go to https://analytics.google.com/ and create a new account for your website.
  • Once you have your Google Analytics account, log in and click on the Admin tab. Under the Property column, click on the option to Create Property.
  • Fill in the required details for your property such as the website URL, time zone, and currency. Choose the appropriate reporting time zone for your website.
  • After creating the property, you will be provided with a Tracking ID in the format "UA-XXXXX-Y". Copy this Tracking ID as you will need it later.
  • Now, you need to access your Drupal 9 website. Log in to the admin dashboard of your Drupal website.
  • In the admin dashboard, navigate to extend and search for the Google Analytics module. Click on the module and install it on your Drupal 9 website.
  • Once the Google Analytics module is installed, go to Configuration in the admin dashboard. Under the Web Services section, click on Google Analytics.
  • In the Google Analytics settings, paste the Tracking ID that you copied earlier into the Web Property ID field.
  • Save the configuration settings. After saving, Google Analytics should be successfully installed on your Drupal 9 website.
  • To confirm that Google Analytics is tracking your website data accurately, go back to your Google Analytics account. Check the Real-Time reports or Audience reports to see if your website data is being tracked.

By following these steps, you can easily install Google Analytics on your Drupal 9 website to track and analyze visitor data.
